(1) In accordance with section 6, compensation will be given for loss due to cutting or breaking down of crops, trees, walls, etc. p>

(2) The amount of compensation as per sub-section (1) shall be determined by the officer conducting the preliminary investigation and given to the concerned person. A complaint can be filed before the Chief District Officer within fifteen days from the date of receiving the information and the decision of the Chief District Officer will be final.
