(1) The Ministry shall constitute a permanent minimum wage determination committee as prescribed to recommend the minimum wage of the workers, representing the Government of Nepal, trade unions and employers' organizations.
(2) When recommending the minimum wages of workers, the committee formed according to sub-section (1) may recommend the minimum wages of workers for the whole of Nepal or for a particular sector or nature of establishment or industry or employment sector.
(3) The basis for recommending the minimum wage shall be determined by the Minimum Wage Determination Committee as per sub-section (1).
(4) The Minimum Wage Determination Committee as per sub-section (1) shall start the minimum wage revision process from the month of Baisakh every two years.
(5) The procedures and other arrangements related to the meeting of the committee as per sub-section (1) shall be as prescribed.
