Section 9
The status of the parties remains the same:
(1) The status of the parties to the case shall be equal during the proceedings, hearing and disposal of the case.
(2) The court shall treat each party of the case equally.
(3) Government of Nepal, provincial government or local level or any of its agencies or any legal person appearing before the court as plaintiff or defendant in the proceedings of the case, unless otherwise provided by law or otherwise ordered by the court. They cannot claim separate status, facilities, concessions, exemptions or exemptions.
