2.1 Unless the subject or context requires otherwise, in this Act,- 2.1.1 'Document' shall also include the following:-

2.1.1.1 Handwritten Book, book, report, financial statement, treaty, contract, newspaper, letter, document, picture, picture, map, plan, chart, file, missile, register or any publication. 2.1.1.2 Original copy or copy of film, micro film, tape (sound record), film, computer disk or computer cassette. 2.1.1.3 Copy or picture of Tadapatra, Bhojapatra, Swarnapatra, Tampatra or Shilapatra. 2.1.1.4 New issue of first stamped postage stamps and money order forms, air mails and post cards. 2.1.2 "Records" means documents securely kept as records in the National Archives and documents registered in accordance with subsection 5.1.1. 2.1.3 "National Archives" shall mean the National Archives established under Section 3. 2.1.4 "Office" shall mean the Ministry and Department of the Government of Nepal and the term shall also refer to the office of the Constitutional Organ, Provincial Government or Local Level Office and the Office of the Temporary or Periodical Commission constituted by the Government of Nepal from time to time. 2.1.5 "Committee" means the Advisory Committee formed as per clause 4. 2.1.6 "Prescribed or prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
