: In this Act, unless the subject or context otherwise requires,-
(a) "Establishment" means an establishment established in accordance with section 3.
(b) "Committee" means the Board of Directors constituted as per Section 6.
(c) "Chairman" means the Chairman of the Committee.
(d) "Member" means a member of the committee and the term also refers to the chairman and member-secretary of the committee.
(e) "Executive Director" means the Executive Director appointed as per Section 9.
(f) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules or regulations made under this Act.
