Rule 2
Definition
In these Regulations, unless the context or the context otherwise requires,–
(a) "Investigating Officer" means a police officer appointed by the Director for the investigation of an offense referred to in rule 6.
(b) "Director" shall mean the Director of Bureau designated as per rule 8.
(c) "Bureau" means the Central Bureau of Investigation established under rule 3.
(d) "Case" means a case investigated by the Bureau and filed before the Hearing Officer.
(e) "source" means a person mobilized by the Bureau in accordance with rule 12 for collecting information related to criminal investigation.
