: In this Act, unless the subject or context otherwise requires –
(a) "Institute" means the Gorkhapatra Institute established under this Act.
(b) "Committee" means the Board of Directors of the Institute.
(c) "General Manager" means the current General Manager of the Institute and this term also refers to the person acting on his behalf.
(d) "Shareholder" means a shareholder who receives shares distributed under this Act.
(e) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules or regulations made under this Act.
