Rule 2
Definition
: In this Regulation, unless the subject or context otherwise requires,
(a) "Act" means the Labor Act, 2048.
(b) "Tea plantation" shall mean a tea plantation registered as per the prevailing law for commercial purposes and the term shall also refer to the fact that a factory has been established.
(c) "labourer" means a person who digs, ploughs, prepares, threshes, sows, sows, threshes, cuts, picks, uproots and other similar work on the land of a tea estate and the term includes the cleaning of the house, land or machinery or any part thereof; It will also refer to the person who does or does any other work related to the tea plantation.
