Section 2
Definition
: In this Act, unless the subject or the context otherwise requires,-
(a) "Chairman" shall mean the Chairman of the Commission.
(b) "Commission" shall mean the Language Commission established under Article 287 of the Constitution.
(c) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
(d) "Member" means a member of the Commission and the term also refers to the Chairman.
(e) "Constitution" means the Constitution of Nepal.
