In these Rules –
unless the subject or context requires otherwise (a) "Act" means the Lands Act, 2021.
(A1) "Ministry" means the Ministry of Land Reforms and Administration.
(A2) "District Land Reform Office" means the office of the land reform officer and the term also refers to the relevant land office in the place where there is no land reform office.
(b) "Bhoomishadhar Adhikari" means the head of the District Bhoomishadhar Office or any other officer designated to exercise his authority or the Malpot Officer in a district where there is no Bhoomishadhar Office.
(c) "land reform team" means a team of government employees and non-government persons appointed by the land reform officer. 1; According to the notification published in the Nepal Gazette dated March 12, 2021, Rule 1, 2, 12, Sub-rule (3), 13 (matters related to determining the value of land for the purpose of Sub-section (1) of Section 27 of the Act), Sub-rule 25, 40 and 45 ( 1) All rules and bye-laws throughout the Dominion of Nepal and elsewhere are dated in 16 districts including Kailali, Bardia, Jhapa, Rautahat, Bara, Parsa, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Kathmandu, Makwanpur, Dhading, Chitaun, Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Sindhupalchok and Kavrepalanchok. Designated to start from 2021.8.12.6. 2; According to the notice published in Nepal Gazette dated 30th of Kartik 2023 ) all rules and by-laws throughout the Dominion of Nepal and elsewhere in Doti, Bajhang, Bajura, Acham, Banke, Surkhet, Dang, Deukhuri, Kapilvastu, Rupandehi, Nawalparasi, Palpa, Syangja, Tanhu, Kaski, Lamju, Gorkha, Sarlahi , Mahottari, Sindhuli, Dhanusha, Siraha, Saptari, Udaipur, Mor · and Sunsari, including 25 districts, have been determined to be applicable from 2023.8.1. 3. According to the notification published in the Nepal Gazette dated March 29, 2023, apart from the rules introduced throughout the dominion of Nepal, all the other rules and sub-rules of the said rules Kanchanpur, DadeldhuRa, Baitadi Jumla, Tibrikot, Jajarkot, Dailekh, Rukum, Rolpa, Salyan, Pyuthan, Myagdi, Baglu·, Khota·, Arghakhanchi, Gulmi, Parbat, Ramechhap, Darchula, Okhaldhu·a, Bhojpur, Tehrthum, Dhankuta, Panchthar, Ilam , Sankhuwa Sabha, Dolakha, Manang, Musta·, Dolpa, Mugu, Humla, Solukhumbu and Tapleju· in total 34 districts, the date has been set to start from 1st Paush 2023.
(d) "Notified order" shall mean an order as per clause (j) of section 2 of the Act.
(e) "Ward Committee" shall mean the Ward Committee constituted in accordance with these rules.
(f) "Bank" shall mean any banking institution established in accordance with the laws of Nepal or its agent.
(g) "Cooperative Society" shall mean a cooperative society registered under the Cooperative Act, 2048 designated by the Government of Nepal.
(h) "Gram Committee" shall mean the Gram Committee constituted in accordance with these rules.
(i) "City Committee" shall mean the City Committee constituted in accordance with these rules.
(J1) "Municipality" means a municipality established in accordance with the prevailing law and the term also refers to a metropolitan municipality and a sub-metropolitan municipality.
(j2) "Price Fixing Committee" means section 26J of the Act. The price determination committee formed as per (j) "District Price Determination Committee" shall mean a committee formed by the Government of Nepal for the purpose of determining the price of food grains collected or collected in accordance with these rules.
(k) "land use committee" means rule 39j. It shall mean the land-use committee constituted as per .(l) "Evaluation Committee" means Rule 39. It should be considered as the evaluation committee constituted as follows (d) "Council" means section 51f of the Act. The Land Use Council constituted as per (d) "Ghu-Uyog" means the process of dividing the land in different areas according to the use of the land and bringing it to use. (n) "Chaklabandi" means the process of consolidating land that is scattered in small portions to increase production and productivity in arable land.
(s) “Fragmentation” means the breaking up of existing land into smaller piecesThe act of dividing into shares should be remembered.
(h) "Local Body" means Municipality and Village Development Committee.
