In this Act, unless the subject or context requires otherwise,-
(a) "Research Center" means Research Center as per Section 15.
(b) "Vice-Chancellor" shall mean the Vice-Chancellor as per Section 24.
(c) "Campus" means the campus of the University and the term also refers to the campus affiliated to the University.
(d) "Executive Council" means the Executive Council as per Section 12.
(e) "Chancellor" means the Chancellor as per section 22.
(f) "Dean" means the head of the department.
(g) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
(h) "Director" means the director as per section 27.
(i) "Curriculum Development Center" means the Curriculum Development Center as per Section 18.
(j) "Academic Council" means the Academic Council as per Section 10.
(k) "Registrar" means the Registrar under section 25.
(l) "Academic Council" means the Academic Council as per Section 16.
(d) "University" means Rajarshijanak University established as per Section 3.
(l) "Teacher" means professors, associate professors, deputy professors and assistant professors who provide education or conduct research in the university, and the term also refers to instructors at different levels of the university and persons designated as teachers in the rules made under this Act.
(n) "Assembly" means the University Assembly as per section 7.
(t) "Vice-Chancellor" shall mean the Vice-Chancellor as per section 23.
(h) "Service Commission" means the Service Commission as per section 21.
(d) "Association" means the association under section 14.
