: In this Act, unless the subject or context requires otherwise-
(a) "Development area" shall mean the land within the four forts mentioned in the schedule.
(b) "Rules" means the rules made under the Provincial Development Plans (Implementation) Act, 2013.
(c) "Family" means a person and includes his other relatives in the following circumstances
(1) Spouse or spouse, separated or not separated,
(2) Sons and daughters who have not reached the age of 16 who are separated or not while their father or mother is alive, 4) Anshiyars living in a cohabitation, whether separated or not,
(d) "Commission" means the commission formed or to be formed from time to time by the Government of Nepal to work in the development sector.
(e) "Forest" means a forest to which the Forest Act, 2049 applies.
(f) "Notified Order" shall mean the notification published in the Nepal Gazette by the Government of Nepal.
(g) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" shall mean as prescribed in this Act or the rules made under this Act.
