Section 2
Definition
In this Act, unless the subject or the context otherwise requires,–
(a) "Chairman" means the Chairman of the Commission and the term also refers to the Acting Chairman.
(b) "Commission" means the National Commission for Women as per Article 252 of the Constitution.
(c) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
(d) "Member" means a member of the Commission and the term also refers to the Chairman.
(e) "Constitution" means the Constitution of Nepal.
