In these regulations, unless the context or context otherwise requires,-

(a)     “Act” means the National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act, 2029.

( b) “Park” means Khaptad National Park.

(c)      “Conservator” means the chief officer of the park in charge of the administration of the park.

(d)      “Assistant Conservator” means the assistant conservator of the park.

(e) “Religious area” means an area demarcated within Khaptad National Park and designated as a religious area.

(f) “Local person” ” means a person who has permanent residence in a village surrounded by the park area or connected to the park. (g) “Department” means the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation.
