In these Regulations, unless the subject or the context otherwise requires,–
(a) "Complaint" means a complaint made under sub-section (1) of section 4 or sub-section (2) of section 5 of the Act.
(b) "Complainant" means the person making the complaint.
(c) "Grievance Hearing Body" means Police Office, National Commission for Women, Local Body or Court.
(d) "Act" means Domestic Violence (Offences and Punishment) Act, 2066.
(e) "Ministry" means the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare.
(f) "Committee" means the Service Fund Management and Operations Committee as per Rule 13.
(g) "Health Centre" means hospital, health post and sub-health post.
(h) "Service Center" shall mean a service center established under Section 11 of the Act.
(i) "Service Fund" means the Service Fund established under sub-section (1) of section 12 of the Act.
