Unless the subject or context indicates otherwise, in this Act, "scholarship" means a financial grant or facility provided by the Government of Nepal for any study, research or training, the Government of Nepal, any foreign country, international or other donor organization or any local or Financial grants or facilities or technical assistance provided by foreign educational institutions are meant and the term also refers to other facilities designated as scholarships by the Government of Nepal by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
