In this Act, unless the subject or context otherwise requires,–
(a) "Service" shall mean the Nepal Special Service established in accordance with Section 3.

(b) "Office" shall mean the National Research Department established in accordance with Section 4 and the level offices under that Department.

(c) “Prescribed” or “as prescribed” means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
