Unless the subject or context requires otherwise, in this Act,-

(a) “Council” shall mean the Nepal Health Research Council established under section 3.

( b) "Committee" shall mean the Executive Committee formed in accordance with Section 7.

(c) "Member" shall mean a member of the Executive Committee and the term shall also refer to the chairman, vice-chairman and member-secretary of the committee.< /p>

(d) “Prescribed” or “as prescribed” means prescribed or prescribed in the regulations made under this Act.
