In this Act, unless the subject or context otherwise requires,–
(a) "animal" means a male goat, sheep, goat, pig, boar, boar, roe, rabbit or buffalo, goat, female sheep, goat, pig other than a cow, ox, bull, male or female; , wild boar or rabbit should be considered and the term should also include male or female chickens, ducks, pigeons or other animals reared for meat purposes.
(b) "Meat" means meat of animals fit for human consumption.
(c) "Meat inspector" means a meat inspector appointed or appointed in accordance with section 6.
(d) "Meat Supervisor" means the Meat Supervisor designated under Section 7.
(e) "Animal Slaughterhouse" means a house or a place for slaughtering animals for meat.
(h) "Meat seller" means a person who sells meat commercially.
(g) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
