In this Act, unless the subject or context otherwise requires,-
(a) "Board" means the National Dairy Development Board established under section 3.
(b) "Committee" means the Executive Committee constituted as per Section 7.

(c) "Chairman" means the Chairman of the Committee.
(d) "Member" shall mean a member of the committee and the term shall also refer to the chairman, vice-chairman and member-secretary of the committee.
(e) "Executive Director" means the Executive Director appointed or designated as per Section 13.
(f) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the regulations made under this Act.
