Unless the subject or the context requires otherwise, in this Act,-

(a) “pre-primary school” means a school that provides one year of pre-primary education to children who have completed four years of age.< /p>

(B) “Primary education” means education from class one to class five.

(B1) “Basic education” means education from early childhood education to class eight.

(d) “Secondary Education” means education provided from class nine to class twelve.

(d1) “Special "Education" means the special type of education given to children with visual, deaf, autism, intellectual disability, slow hearing or severe physical disabilities in a separate group.

(d1a) "Inclusive education" means the following Education shall mean:-

(1) Education given to blind, visually impaired, deaf, hard of hearing, autism, intellectual, physical or other disabled children under regular educational system,

( 2) Education given in a non-discriminatory environment to people who are left behind due to social, economic or geographical reasons.

(D2) "Community school" means a school that has received permission or approval to receive regular subsidies from the Government of Nepal.

p>(D3) "Institutional school" means a school that receives permission or approval from the Government of Nepal on a regular basis.

(D5) “School education” means basic and secondary education.

(D6) “Board” means section 4A. It shall mean the National Examination Board constituted as per Section 7A. It shall mean the National Education Council constituted as follows.

(e) “School” shall mean a community school or an institutional school. Should mean the school where education is given.

For the purposes of section 12, the word means the father, mother, father or son of the student and in the case of a student who is not such a parent, also refers to the person providing guardianship to such student.

(g) “Secondary Education Pass Examination” (School Living Certificate Examination) means the examination at the end of secondary education.

(g) “Basic Education Pass Examination” means the examination at the end of the basic level.

(h) “Prescribed” or “as prescribed” means prescribed or prescribed in the rules or regulations made under this Act.

( j) "Permission" means the temporary approval granted by the Government of Nepal to open a school or add classes in a designated place or area where permanent approval and assistance has not been provided. Refers to the permanent approval granted by the Government of Nepal.

(k) “Residential school” means a school approved as a residential school by the Government of Nepal.

(l2) "Permanent residence permit" means Diversity Immigrant Visa (DV), Permanent Resident Visa (P .R.) or green card and that term also refers to the permanent residence permit of any name given to Nepali citizens to live abroad permanently.
