In this Act, unless the subject or context otherwise requires,–
(a) "Constitution" means the Interim Constitution of Nepal, 2063 (b) "Chief Justice" means the Chief Justice of Nepal and the term also refers to the permanent Chief Justice.
(c) "Judge" means a Judge of the Supreme Court and the term includes the Chief Justice.
(d) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
