(1) In these rules, if the subject or context does not indicate otherwise, -
(a) "Act" means the Compensation Act, 2019.
(b) "Authority" means an employee of Nepal Rashtra Baiddha working in relation to stock.
(c) "Principal part of the stock" means the part of the stock with the serial number of the stock and the signature of the officer signing the stock or the price mentioned in the stock or the name of the interest payee is written or listed, (d) "Damaged stock" means stock in which the main part or parts of the stock have been torn off or otherwise destroyed or damaged.
(e) “Lost stock” means stock not in possession of the owner.
(f) "Obscure stock" means stock in which the main part of the stock is not understood.
(2) Words and phrases used (but not defined) in these rules shall have the meanings given in the Act.
