Unless the subject or context requires otherwise, in these rules:- "Forest development work" means forest boundary work, various types of forest roads, construction of forest bridges, construction of buildings required by the forest department, construction of fire protection lines to protect the forest from fire. Work, nursery establishment and forest planting work, forest crop improvement work, sanctuary or national park work, forest resources survey work, working plan preparation work is also referred to.
