In these Regulations, unless the context or context otherwise requires,
(a) "Act" means the Passport Act, 2076.
(b) "District Administration Office" shall mean the District Administration Office as per the prevailing law and the term also refers to the District Administration Office under the District Administration Office.
(c) "Family" shall mean the husband, wife, son, daughter, father, mother, mother-in-law, father-in-law who lives with the person receiving the passport and has to be supported by him/herself. (d) "Director General" means the Director General of the Department.
(e) "Special work" means the special work assigned by the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers.
(f) "Government work". It means a meeting, conference, symposium, seminar, workshop or similar program organized by a foreign government, international association, or organization in which officials or employees of any government agency of the Nepalese government, state government, or local level must participate. It also refers to studies, study tours or training in which the employee participates.
