(1) A non-resident Nepali or any foreign company in which more than fifty percent of shares are invested by a non-resident Nepali is an industry or business opened for foreign investment according to the prevailing law or the Government of Nepal by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette. Any other industry or business open to non-resident Nepalis for investment, the amount earned in foreign currency abroad can be invested in Nepal in convertible foreign currency. The amount should be received through any commercial bank or financial institution licensed to conduct financial transactions from Nepal Rastra Bank according to the prevailing law. .
