Rule 39F
Work, Duties and Powers of the Council
The work, duties and powers of the Council shall be as follows:- (a) Determining the policy and strategy related to land use, (b) Approving programs related to land use, (c) Designing land use programs To give the necessary instructions to various agencies of the Government of Nepal to operate, (d) To manage the allocated budget for the approved land-use program, (e) To prepare the land-use map necessary to operate the land-use program, (f) Recommending the formation of a district-level land use and local anti-cattle committee to conduct programs related to land use and anti-cattle in the district. , (h) Coordinate the land use related programs operated by different agencies and eliminate duplication, (h) Do other work related to the land use program operation.
