(1) The position of a member under clause (k) or (l) of sub-section (1) of section 102 shall be vacant in the following cases:-
(a) If he resigns in writing before the Ministry through the Chairman,
(b) If he/she absents himself from the meeting of the committee for three consecutive times without notice, but if the alternate member is present, this provision shall not apply.
(c) on the expiry of his term of office, or
(d) In case of his death.
(2) According to clause (b) of sub-section (1), before dismissing the member of the council, he should be given an opportunity to clear himself.
(3) If the position of a member of the Council becomes vacant according to sub-section (1), when nominating another person for such position, the nomination shall be from the region from which such member was nominated and following the same procedure for the remaining term.
