Rule 22
Council may suspend or revoke approval
(1) If any organization which has received approval under rule 18 or 10 does anything contrary to the Act or these regulations or fails to comply with the instructions of the council, the council may suspend any training conducted by such organization for a certain period of time or fix a period for such organization. Can postpone or cancel the approval received by such organization.
(1a) If an organization fails to deposit the deposit amount and late fees with the council within the period as per sub-rule (4) of rule 20, the council shall cancel the approval of such organization and publicize the notice thereof.
(2) According to sub-rules (1) and (1A), if an institution is not allowed to conduct training, or if the approval of the institution is cancelled, then the institution is not allowed to enroll new trainees for any training. However, if the training of the admitted candidates is not completed, the rest of the training should be completed by the same institution or by another institution at their own expense.
(3) If the approval is canceled according to rule 21 or if the approval is suspended or canceled according to sub-rules (1) and (1A), if the institution does not complete the remaining training of the trainees it has enrolled, such institution will not get back the deposit deposited with the Council and if the approval of such institution is pending. It will also be cancelled.
(4) Before suspending or canceling the approval of an organization in accordance with this rule, the Council shall give such organization a reasonable opportunity to submit clarifications.
