(1) The Government of Nepal or the Provincial Government may establish an animal slaughterhouse in any area of ​​Nepal by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), the Government of Nepal or the State Government may grant permission to establish animal slaughterhouses even in non-government areas as prescribed.
(3) In accordance with sub-section (1) or (2), the conditions to be followed and the criteria to be adopted while establishing and operating the animal slaughterhouse shall be as prescribed.
