(1) In the course of the investigation and investigation of the crime, if it is known that the property or instrument for which the seizure or withholding order has been issued in accordance with Section 4 is abroad, the investigating officer shall take the necessary action to obtain mutual legal assistance in accordance with the prevailing law.
(2) When conducting proceedings according to sub-section (1), the investigating officer shall disclose the location of such property or instrument, its nature, value and other details as far as available.
(3) In order to obtain mutual legal assistance, the investigation officer shall regularly give the details of the proceedings conducted in accordance with this section to the department.
