Rule 37
Strengthening family ties

(1) The Children's Correctional Home shall make the following arrangements for the children to strengthen their family relationships:-
(a) Arrangements for direct visitation of 8 children with parents, guardians, relatives or friends,
(b) Arrangements to contact the parents, guardians or relatives of children who cannot come to visit their children due to financial reasons and provide financial assistance for visiting them twice a year,
(c) provision for every child to speak or correspond with his parents, guardians, relatives or friends at least once a week through any means of communication including telephone,
(d). If the child's family member wants to give any material or gift to the child with the permission of the Children's Correctional Home and such material will benefit the concerned children, the provision of accepting such material only.
(2) Children's correctional home should give the child an opportunity to visit the child in case of illness and to participate in the funeral rites in case of death if a family member or close relative of the child is seriously ill or dies.
(3) By-laws. When given the opportunity to participate as per (2), arrangements should be made to send the police security personnel along with Mathwar on the recommendation of the probation officer.
(4) Children: Children who have been in a juvenile correctional home for a period of at least six months or who have spent one-third of the period determined to be in a juvenile correctional home may, on the recommendation of the probation officer, visit their parents or home family for a few days a week or for some time with the permission of the court. can arrange.
