Section 8
Provisions relating to contributions for periods of non-remuneration

(1) If a worker is unable to collect the contribution due to the fund due to any reason, due to any reason, the contribution required to be deposited in the fund shall be deposited by the relevant listed employer for a maximum period of three months.
(2) The registered employer may deduct the amount of contribution deposited as per sub-section (1) from the wages, allowances or other benefits received by the concerned workers as prescribed.
