(1) According to Section 11 of the Act, if any person who renounced Nepalese citizenship and went abroad wants to regain Nepali citizenship, the schedule before the ministry or the relevant district administration office to first provide him with a certificate of citizenship along with the proof of relinquishing the foreign citizenship- Application should be made in the format as per 11.
(2) After receiving the request for notification as per sub-rule (1), the officer as per rule 8 will issue the certificate of Nepalese citizenship with the details of the former's citizenship by giving information about registration of notification in the format as per schedule-12.
