Rule 20
Procedure on non-appeal

(1) If it is not necessary to appeal the judgment of a district court in a case according to section 24 of the Act, the opinion with the reasons for not appealing should be sent to the higher public prosecutor's office within ten days of the commencement of the appeal period.
(2) After receiving the proposal not to appeal under sub-rule (1), if the higher public prosecutor's office finds that it is not necessary or appropriate to appeal, it will submit a request to the Attorney General for disposal and will have it done according to the disposal.
