Section 25
Awarding
: (1) Arrest a person who kills or injures a rhinoceros, tiger, elephant, musk deer, snow leopard, snow leopard or cow. A cash reward of up to fifty thousand rupees can be given to the person who gives it, and up to twenty five thousand rupees to the person who leads and arrests the person who kills or injures the protected wildlife other than the above-mentioned wild animals.
(2) To the person who leads to the arrest of a person illegally possessing an akhetopahar or who arrests such a person, if the akhetopahar is seized and auctioned, fifty percent of the price from the auction sale, or if the akhetopahar should not be auctioned from the point of view of wildlife protection, consideration of the condition, importance and quantity of such akhetopahar Up to ten thousand rupees can be awarded.
(3) Apart from what is written in sub-section (1) and (2), a reward of up to one thousand rupees can be given to the person who arrests the accused on suspicion of committing an offense under this Act.
