Section 5
Work, Duties and Rights of Pragya Pratishthan
: In addition to the work, duties and rights mentioned elsewhere in this Act, the work, duties and rights of Pragya Pratishthan shall be as follows :
(a) Formulating policies and programs of Pragya Pratishthan,
(b) Studying and researching various topics related to all languages, literature, culture, philosophy and sociology of Nepal and preparing useful books and works. (c) To create and publish research and original works on various topics related to all languages, literature, culture, philosophy and sociology of Nepal,
(d) To translate and publish high-level works from foreign languages ​​to all languages ​​of Nepal and from Nepali languages ​​to foreign languages ​​as required,
(e) conducting national and international seminars, conferences, exhibitions etc. in relation to language, literature, culture, philosophy and social sciences,
(f) Participating in international conferences, discourses, seminars, deliberations, exhibitions, etc. on various subjects of language, literature, culture, philosophy and sociology, (g) To have relations with international associations related to different fields of language, literature, culture, philosophy and sociology,
(h) Arranging appreciation, honor and awards to native and foreign people who have made significant contributions in various subjects of language, literature, culture, philosophy and sociology,
(i) For the development of language, literature, culture, philosophy and social science, to enhance cooperation, goodwill and coordination for the environment in which the talents of scholars, writers and sociologists of related subjects can be developed,
(j) Promoting and protecting the literature, script, culture and folklore of various castes and communities of Nepal. (k) To study, research, promote and preserve Nepali folk literature (l) To prepare and publish encyclopedias and dictionaries in all languages ​​of Nepal, various foreign languages ​​and languages ​​spoken in Nepal and to make all languages ​​of Nepal rich and prosperous.To create and popularize tha vocabulary,
(D) Providing assistance in the development of local writers, writers, sociologists, culturalists and other related organizations who contribute to the subjects of language, literary culture, philosophy and sociology. (d) To arrange scholarship for study and research on all languages, literature, culture, philosophy and social sciences of Nepal,
