Section 14
Duration of copyright protection
(1) The economic and moral rights granted to the author according to this Act shall be preserved for the lifetime of the author and in the event of his death, up to fifty years from the year of his death.
(2) In the case of the economic and moral rights of a jointly prepared composition, the last among the authors to die shall be protected for fifty years from the year of death of the author.
(3) The economic and moral rights of works prepared in accordance with clauses (b) and (c) of sub-section (2) of section 6 shall be preserved for fifty years from the date of first publication of such work or the first time it is brought before the public, whichever comes first. .
(4) The financial and moral rights of a work published under a benami or pseudonym shall be protected for fifty years from the date of the first publication of such work or when it is brought to the public, whichever comes first. But if the author's name is published within the mentioned time, the protection mentioned in sub-section (1) or (5) will be obtained depending on the situation.
(5) The economic and moral rights of works related to practical art and photographic works shall be protected for twenty-five years from the year of creation of such works.
