If an application is made before the registrar for the registration of a trade union, the registrar shall examine the details mentioned in sub-rule (2) of the same rule and the additional details requested under section 6 of the Act and see that the procedure has not been met as per Section 3 of the Act. According to sub-section (3), such establishment-level trade union shall be registered in the registration book and given a certificate of registration in the format as per schedule-2.
