The work, duties and powers of the Provincial Steering Committee shall be as follows:-- (a) Analyzing and projecting the demand of the labor market and the availability of existing manpower within the concerned province, (b) Providing employment for unemployed persons or Recommending to the provincial government the necessary policy to arrange self-employment, (c) ordering the preparation of updated records of unemployed persons within the respective province, (d) suggesting to the provincial government regarding subsistence allowances to be provided to unemployed persons, (e) the unemployment assistance program operated within the respective province. To evaluate the implementation, (21 (f) To coordinate with the government, private and non-government bodies within the respective province for job creation, (g) To work according to the guidance given by the committee.
