(1) According to Clause (a) of Clause (1) of Article 176 of the Constitution, double the number of constituencies determined in the respective provinces by the Commission for the election of the members of the House of Representatives in accordance with Section 3 It shall determine the constituencies for the election of members of the Provincial Assembly.

(2) The Commission shall determine the constituencies in accordance with sub-section (1) so that there are at least two constituencies in each district.

(3) According to the section, if more than one constituency has to be determined in a district on the basis of population, it should be determined in such a way that the ratio of the population of all the constituencies within such district is the same, taking into account the matter mentioned in sub-section (6) of Article 286 of the Constitution.

(4) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (3), a constituency shall not be determined as follows:-

(a) the area of ​​one district is included in another district So,
(b) incorporating one constituency of the House of Representatives with another constituency, or
(c) Any ward of a municipality or rural municipality falling in more than one constituency.
