Section 39A
Provisions related to the operation of financial institutions in the province
(1) The operation of financial institutions can be limited to the provincial level subject to the limits, conditions or instructions set by Nepal Rastra Bank.
(2) The financial institution according to sub-section (1) shall obtain a license in accordance with the law made by the province under the license policy prescribed by Nepal Rastra Bank.
(3) The regulation, inspection and supervision of financial institutions operating in accordance with this section shall be done by Nepal Rastra Bank.
(4) Other arrangements related to the operation of financial institutions at the provincial level shall be subject to this Act and shall be as provided in the laws of the respective provinces.
