(1) If the registration of a Nepalese ship is cancelled, all its certificates and logs must be filed with the Nepalese Shipping Office. However, in the case of ships transferred to foreign countries, there is no need to file such certificates and logs.
(2) Any logbook of a seagoing Nepali ship shall be kept on the ship for 1 year after it has been fully used and then filed with the Nepal Shipping Office.
(3) Certificates and logs of ships received in accordance with this section shall be preserved by the Nepal Shipping Office for 10 years from the date of receipt.
