(1) The object, design and description of the main standard shall be in accordance with E2 class of Recommendation No. 20 of International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) or in accordance with Schedule-1 and that standard shall be specified by the controller in the laboratory of Quality and Metrology Department. It will be in charge of the officer.
(2) Inspection of the main standard maintained according to sub-rule (1) The officer specified in that sub-rule must keep a record of the inspection every 10 years in accordance with sub-section (2) of section 16 of the Act.
