Rule 38
Administrative arrangement and delegation of authority
(1) The authority exercised by the Deputy Attorney General in accordance with this regulation in relation to personnel administration and the authority granted to the Secretary of the Government of Nepal in accordance with the prevailing law in relation to financial administration shall be exercised by the most senior Deputy Attorney General of the Attorney General's office.
(2) The Attorney General may issue necessary instructions from time to time for the supervision, operation and control of the government attorney administration subject to this regulation and the instructions of the Government of Nepal and it shall be the duty of the concerned officer to comply with such instructions.
(3) Subject to prevailing law, it shall be the duty of the concerned officer to comply with the instructions given by the Attorney General in cases or legal matters concerning the rights and interests of the Government of Nepal.
(4) Subject to the prevailing law, the Attorney General and the head of the department may delegate some of their powers as needed to be exercised by their subordinates.
(2) The Attorney General may issue necessary instructions from time to time for the supervision, operation and control of the government attorney administration subject to this regulation and the instructions of the Government of Nepal and it shall be the duty of the concerned officer to comply with such instructions.
(3) Subject to prevailing law, it shall be the duty of the concerned officer to comply with the instructions given by the Attorney General in cases or legal matters concerning the rights and interests of the Government of Nepal.
(4) Subject to the prevailing law, the Attorney General and the head of the department may delegate some of their powers as needed to be exercised by their subordinates.
