Section 18
Preparation of question paper, revision and conduct of examination
(1) The Commission shall conduct the preparation of question paper for the examination by an expert or expert in the relevant subject.
(2) According to sub-section (1), the skilled or expert who prepares the question paper shall be provided confidentially with the syllabus of the relevant subject, sample questions, conditions to be followed while preparing the question paper and other necessary details.
(3) Generally, five sets of question papers for each subject should be prepared for the examination to be conducted according to any advertisement.
(4) According to the annual schedule of the commission, the question paper should be produced keeping in view the time of receipt of demand for vacancies and the condition of the balance in the question paper store.
(5) The modification (moderation) of the question papers prepared according to sub-section (1) shall be done by one or more experts or experts as per the requirement. In this way, revision of the question paper can be done separately from two or more groups.
(6) When revising the question paper according to sub-section (5), questions from all the subjects (sections, groups, sub-groups) should be included proportionately. While selecting the question, the candidate should be able to write the answer within the time specified in the syllabus.
(7) While revising the question, attention should be paid to the following points: –
(a) Not to put controversial and ambiguous questions,
(b) Not asking extra-curricular questions,
(c) Asking questions that are appropriate to the level of the post of District Judge (d) Preparing a set of question papers in such a way that the questions within one set are not repeated (e) To follow the procedures prescribed by the Commission regarding the revision of questions.
(8) The commission will conduct the examination as mentioned in the advertisement to select the candidates according to the advertisement published for filling the post of District Judge.
(9) The preparation or revision of question papers for the examination conducted by the Commission, the qualification of the expert who prepares or revises the question paper, the conditions to be followed by him and other provisions related to the conduct of the examination shall be as determined by the Commission.
