: Since it is desirable to make the legal arrangements related to the retention, control and confiscation of property obtained from criminal offenses and the instruments related to the offence, according to Article 83 of the Interim Constitution of Nepal, 2063, the Constituent Assembly has made this Act in the capacity of the Legislature-Parliament.
