: Since it is desirable to amend and unify the current legal provisions related to political parties in a timely manner in order to organize the process related to the formation, registration and operation of political parties and to make the operations and financial management of political parties transparent and responsible, according to the clause (1) of Article 296 of the Constitution of Nepal. The Legislature-Parliament has made this Act.
