: To provide the opportunity of quality and standard higher education to the people of all sectors through study, teaching and research in art, science, medicine, law, management, education, technical and other professional subjects, to supply skilled manpower for national development and to compete in accordance with the concept of multi-university. In order to improve the quality of higher education and make the educational and academic environment of the country more clean, dignified and productive, since it is desirable to make necessary arrangements regarding the establishment and operation of the Far Western Regional University with the investment of the Government of Nepal, according to clause (1) of Article 83 of the Interim Constitution of Nepal, 2063 The Assembly has made this Act.
