Section 7
Rights and duties relating to police personnel
:
(1) The Chief District Officer shall conduct the necessary investigation on whether the district police office, the police office of the district and the police station are not in proper condition, whether the police personnel and authorized soldiers have acted according to the law, and do the following in this regard:
(a) District police office, local police office and police station must be inspected at least once a year. The report should be sent to the regional administrator and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
(b) The report of the police officer's good deeds and performance should be sent to the regional administrator and the Ministry of Home Affairs twice a year in Paush month and Ashad month.
(c) If it appears that any work related to the police of the district should be arranged, the chief district officer should send his opinion in writing to the ministry.
(d) If someone complains on the basis that the police personnel have acted against the law while performing their duties, they should conduct necessary investigation and submit a report to the regional administrator and the Ministry of Home Affairs along with their recommendations and opinions for necessary action.
